When the VF-1 programm was running to create the first variable system with air and ground abilities, the militaries also decided to use the Robotechnology and build a replacement to the conventional tank/APC but with a better all-terrain capabilities.

Heavily armoured and equipped with numerous destructive weapons, the Destroid Tomahawk was designed to be the first front-line mecha to engage and clear the way for the other combat units. Posted behind, it would easily provide assistance to the battlefield units with its missiles, 2 launchers in the shoulders for short range micro-missiles and an external launcher for surface-to-air missiles (SAM).
Despite feared for its fire power, the Destroid Tomahawk is also one of the most vulnerable mecha when it comes to close range combats: due to its weight, it has a very slow speed and is unable to avoid enemies's attacks.

The main armament includes 2 short range micro-missiles launchers in the shoulders, 1 surface to air (SAM) missiles launcher, 2 Mauler PBC-11 particle beam cannons in the arms and 2 Astra TZ-III gun clusters (180mm fire mortar, 25mm auto cannon, laser gun and flame thrower).

The Destroid Tomahawk Olive Drab Version also includes 1 pilote, 1 technician and 1 ground operator.
Scale: 1/60, size: appr. 19 cm (8 inches).
